Color is a gorgeous deep wine red and it changes depending on light (see examples). Louis Vuitton monogram logo all over, used condition. Beautiful and eye catching outside. This pre-loved cutie was repainted/restored with waterproof dye and it's noticeable if you look closely. Minor wear, micro scrapes outside. Inside: heavy rips, fringing especially on the edges/corners of flap. Minor spotting, wear in bottom. Minor wear/scraping on brass metal lock. smartsnaps @ashleyrae860 Hello, sorry for the late reply, I just saw your question. Usually items over 500 are authenticated again by Poshmark before being sent to you, the buyer. Or we sometimes also offer third party authentication if the item value justifies us spending the cost. However because this is such a low priced item, we can't do that. An experienced collector will know, however, this is authentic based on build, hardware, code, logo arrangement, etc. Hope that helps. Thanks!

smartsnaps @amwilli321 Hi, remember this has a front locking mechanism. Simply press down on both of the side nobbins (at the same time!) and it'll open.
